You did indeed catch us at the right time! And twin wands, how interesting!

These wands are curiously matched - I take it you knew that bearers of Elder wands often feel an affinity for those who bear wands of Rowan?

The Rowan wand here, is a simple and direct piece, protective and with an ability to heal, the versatility of Phoenix Feather allows for the wand to readily and easily be both of those things and helps their chosen master to manage these two aspects. The length and flexibility here indicate a good measure of confidence, while not yet being quite over-confident, and remaining adaptable with a slight amount of “bite” - when pushed too far the bearer of this wand will unhesitatingly bite back. They may be a shield, a protector, a healer, but this does not mean that they will simply give up when pushed too far - shields can be used to ram attackers, as well as to defend, after all.

I imagine this wand being simply carved, feathers carved into the handle turning into spreading flames on the wand’s shaft.

The Elder here, however, is almost complementary to this one - interesting in brother wands; mayhaps these two chose friends or family, so they are matched twice over? Elder chooses the unusual and remarkable, and, in some cases I imagine, leaders, seeking out those who stand above, in some regard, others. Again, a Phoenix core indicates that this individual may be versatile in their abilities, although here the wandwood gives little indication as to where such skill may lie - superstition says in death, making this wand a warrior to it’s brother’s shield, but this is not absolute and any wand may be turned to it’s master’s purpose, when properly matched. The length and flexibility here, however, indicate a lesser confidence than the rowan wand - perhaps the master of this wand relies on the protection of others for them to feel strong enough to be remarkable? Perhaps, even, protection from this rowan wand? - while also being rather stubborn on occasion, adaptable, but stubborn.

I imagine this wand as also having a feathering handle, but where it’s twin turns to flames, this turns to crackling ash and embers.
